Antiwar, the only defensible position to take...unless you are dealing with your own Government.

"If you want to remain free, you must always be wary of government, because governments, not private terrorists, are and always have been the greatest threats to liberty and the greatest mass murderers in history."-- Syndicated Columnist Charlie Reese
And so it has come to this.....
We cannot even enter a bank anymore without our own Government menacing us with guns and demanding we show our papers.
I first heard about this story on ABC News Radio and could not believe what I was hearing:

"By CURT ANDERSONAssociated Press WriterNov 28 9:28 PM US/Eastern
MIAMI - Miami police announced Monday they will stage random shows of force at hotels, banks and other public places to keep terrorists guessing and remind people to be vigilant. Deputy Police Chief Frank Fernandez said officers might, for example, surround a bank building, check the IDs of everyone going in and out and hand out leaflets about terror threats."
We might declare Martial Law in random places, like the airport, or the subway, or maybe your local bank.
Don't worry though, it's all to protect your freedom.
So while Conservatives are blathering about the outrage of calling an Xmas Tree a Holiday Tree and the adopting a killer for the State our own Barbarians are at the gate destroying freedom here at home all in the interest of protecting it.
The only reason our Government can get away with this overt aggression against the citizenry is tacit support of the War on Terror and by extension the War on Iraq which is their justification for all of this.
If one believes that a National Security State destroys freedom as is made clear by the above
cited article, then the only defensible position is to be Antiwar as it is the aggression of War that is feeding the march towards a Police State and destruction of freedom at home.
On the other hand, War appears to be the only thing that might bring our own Government to heel from its aggression.
