The State Engages in Legalized Kidnapping to Stem the Tide Of "Illegal Immigration". I feel safer already.....

"Americans are being conditioned to live in a Soviet-style prison nation with border minefields, national electronic ID, travel controls, random searches, etc. all justified by the need to protect the welfare state against the poor of the world. It isn’t the libertarian’s job to defend the welfare state, or the Gulag that it always becomes. It is our job to point out that the State itself is the problem. Without the US government support for Third World kleptocracies, more countries would be free (and more people would want to stay there). Without public schools, "free" medical care, etc., immigrants would not drain our nation. They would power it, as they did in the early 20th century."--"The Immigration Solution" by Bill Walker
How can seemingly sensible Libertarians be so wrong on the issue of Illegal Immigration?
The recent round up of illegals (statist speak for legalized kidnapping) is troubling to me to say the least.
Libertarians by in large understand that the State should not be trusted with our guns, our money, our children to educate them, our speech, et all yet the State suddenly becomes a benevolent granter of all that is holy when it comes to dealing with Illegal Immigration?
This contradition in both simple logic and common sense just boggles my mind.
If anything, more of us should be illegal aliens.
We should outright refuse any and all documention of us by the State which amounts to the State claiming us as it's property.
Yet the answer to solving the 'problem' is to terrorize a group of people who are not documented by the State. And not being numbered by the State is bad because?
Oh but don't you understand they're draining our resources and stealing our jobs!
First of all, the only one responsible for draining resources of all of us is the State.
Who they give the stolen loot to is irrelevent.
Shutdown the Welfare State and the draining of resources will take care of itself.
The stealing of American jobs by 'illegals' is an amazing absurdity uttered by even otherwise sensible Libertarians which also blows my mind.
Since when is anyone entitled to a job?
The question answers itself.
You have no more of a right to a job than you do Health Care, a living wage, Housing, or anything else for that matter.
I cannot believe in America we've already come to the point where people can be just grabbed off the street and thrown into vans for being from a certain ethnic group and don't give me this bunk that they are only targeting illegals.

Just like the Drug War there are innocent people being swept up in the irrational fear of the supposed threat of illegals which itself is a HUGE lie told to get the brainwashed masses to sign on.

Yes there are a few individuals genuinely concerned about the border but the answer is NOT to engage in this kind of brutality but to allow people to protect their property locally and remove the Government ENTIRELY out of Border Patrol and Immigration.

Then again it did such a BRILLIANT job on 9/11 and with Hurricane Katrina, why shouldn't we trust it to manage the Border and Immigration?

It has NO CLUE what it is doing and it has no incentive to be productive since it lives off stolen loot and didn't earn the position by satisfying customers like every market endeavor must do in order to not only survive but prosper.

What is going on in Arizona and neighboring States is nothing more than legalized kidnapping because that is EXACTLY what we'd be called, Kidnappers, if we engaged in the same behavior be they legal citizens or not.

This Police Posse thing going on in Arizona is abhorrent but then again we are talking about the State.

"[During the 20th century] … 170 million men, women, and children have been shot, beaten, tortured, knifed, burned, starved, frozen, crushed, or worked to death; buried alive, drowned, hung, bombed, or killed in any other of the myriad ways governments have inflicted death on unarmed, helpless citizens and foreigners." – R.
